Do I need to know programming languages like ASP,PHP, or CGI? When you register with us you, simple html code will be generated for you to place on your web site. There is no need to know any programming language. All you will need to do is drop the html code into your existing web page. Return to Questions
Why do I need to register? Unlike other free content services ours is designed to return the results to your web site. When you register you will need to tell us the exact page that will be placing the bible search code on. This information will then be used to determine where to send the results back to when the visitor does their search. Your visitors will not be taken away from your site when they search the bible from your site. Will visitors be taken away from my site when they search the bible on my site? Your visitors in many cases will not be taken away from your site when they search the bible from your site. The only time a user will be taken away from your site is if they click the link to Cinchbible.com or if they click the "Read Whole Chapter" button. Clicking "Read Whole Chapter" will open a new window that will display tools to navigate through the various chapters of the book they are reading. This page will also display a link back to your site and page that brought them there. Keep in mind this opens in another window and leaves your existing site open on their screen at the same time. Why do I need to give my name and address when registering? Name, address, city, state, and zip code are not required fields. You may enter them if you want to tell us who you are. It is not necessary to give this information if you are uncomfortable with doing so. Return to Questions
